Rice Associates’ commitment to using the latest in technology has spanned 30 years and continues today with Leica’s state-of-the-art high definition LiDAR system. The firm recently purchased the Leica Pegasus:One which is a complete mobile mapping solution from hardware to post-processing. Unlike many mobile mapping systems, the Pegasus does not require dedicated or modified vehicles. The addition of the mobile scanning capability to Rice Associates’ geospatial services tool box allows us to be a one-stop survey and mapping shop.

Mobile Mapping – Solving Geospatial Challenges

Mobile LiDAR picture2Safety: Data collected at posted speed limits – keeping personnel off roadways with little or no need for maintenance of traffic (MOT)

Rapid Results: 20 times faster than traditional surveying – on-schedule results within budget

High Quality: “Survey Grade” accuracy – producing data that keeps multiple end users informed throughout a project’s life cycle

Turnkey: Concept to completion – valuable and extensive data collected for immediate planning and future design efforts.
